I need some powering up. Everyday, there’s a MILLION things I want to do. The problem is, when I am sitting in front of the computer, I”M DEAD TIRED AND DON’T WANT TO DO ANYTHING. What is the problem? I work out and do a bit of cardio with skip rope, and I get plenty of sleep. The only thing that could be affecting me is:

- Do I get a sound nights rest?
- Am I eating well?
- Am I drinking well?

SCOOBY DOO! Haven’t got a clue to any of these…

Pearl Castle

For lunch today, I decided to go to Pearl Castle in Richmond today. Normally, my bubble tea places are either Gogo Tea or Well Tea, but Pearl Castle has also been near the top of my list.

I’m so HUNGRY YOU CAN HEAR MY STOMACH GROWLING FROM A MILE AWAY! I am drooling over my phone right now as I wait for my house special beef noodle and my grass jelly slush! Pictures up later.

Children’s Wish Foundation needs to get better callers

I received a call at 11:11 AM on this fine Tuesday morning and I proceeded to pick up my corded beer phone. Her name was Leah and this is exactly how the conversation went.

Me: Hello?
Leah: Hi is Daniel home? (Daniel is my dad)
Me: No he isn’t. May I ask who’s calling?
Leah: This is Leah.
Me: May I ask Leah from where, is calling?
Leah: This is Leah from Children’s Wish Foundation
Me: Well Daniel isn’t here right now
Leah: Are you sure you’re not Daniel?
Me: I’m not Daniel
Leah: That’s ok we’ll call back ano-
*She hung up

Immediately afterwards, a whole shitload of thoughts were screaming through my head. What kind of incompetent ass caller would not introduce themselves and the organization they are with RIGHT when I say “hello”? Why do I have to ask two times who she is then she finally tells me? WHO is she to question the validity of answers and my identity when SHE is the one asking for money? What kind of rude and incompetent people are the Childrens Wish Foundation hiring these days? Can she not even fully complete the whole sentence before hanging up?

Thankfully, this is not enough to ruin my day!

I ~~often~~ sometimes ponder this question seriously. Am I too arrogant, narrow minded, prejudiced, childish and immature, and overall, too plain stupid to see where other people are coming from, or am I truly too GREAT for my own time and generation that no logic or explanations that I can provide can ever do me justice to my audience?. Cheap Wings on Monday Makes My Day

What could possibly be better than cheap wings on a Wednesday night? EVEN CHEAPER wings on a MONDAY night when I have NOTHING to do! I am now at J. Malones in Richmond, on Blundell and Garden City, and they have the best wings. Shit, this is so damn good. 20 wings for $3.00. 15 cents EACH. The only thing is, is that you have to buy the sauces for 75 cents, and its like an inch and a half thick and a bit wider than a toonie. It doesn’t matter though cause they serve my FAVOURITE beer: Alexander Keiths Pale Ale by the pitcher. Check it out.

Name droppers – I despise them

I really dislike name droppers. For those that do not know what a name dropper is, they are people that mention their accomplishments or possessions in sentences that common sense wouldn’t say to do so. Before I go on, I do recognize that common sense isn’t so common (cliche, yes).

For example, take this conversation between two individuals:
Bob: How’s it going Jim?
Jim: Not bad, not bad at all. Care for a game of -
Bob: Wait… hold that thought please. I left my wallet in my penthouse. I’ll just run up and grab it.

Bob here is the name dropper. Who the hell cares about your penthouse? Why was it even relevant? Several variations of this could be “oh, I left my solid gold lighter in my glove compartment” or “I need to type something on my Macbook Pro, it’ll be just a second”. This is irritating and very, very childish. We all may or may not have great purchases or achievements, but what are you trying to accomplish by flaunting it like that? Worse than that, are they really insecure about status or themselves in general that they need validation of this sort?

Well, of course you can’t really do anything about these kinds of people. They aren’t doing anything wrong, nor should they hide their own greatness. So why do I have this urge to strangle them all!?

I am on a great search. I believe the key to solving anger lies in different ways. It is like the difference between white medicine and chinese medicine. White medicine seems to cover up the symptoms whereas chinese medicine seems to solve the problem. White medicine tastes good, acts fast. Chinese medicine tastes horrible, acts slowly. Anger management is not a solution. Distraction isn’t either. I need to find my inner peace. If I could have it as a child, I can have it as an adult. If I can have it from time to time, rarely, yes, I can have it on a more permanent basis. This is my search. One of them at least.
